The Zalas Trio was founded in 2004 by Carlota Amargós, violin, Beatrix Graf, clarinet and Nikos Stavlas, piano, three students of the Royal College of Music, London. Its unusual combination of wind and string instruments with piano offers to the audience a wide spectrum of standard works and newer chamber music compositions.
The Zalas Trio also collaborates with other musicians, appearing in flexible ensembles as the Zalas Players.
